Residents in the Trossachs and Aldarra neighborhoods are being asked to reduce their use of water until a broken sewage pump can be fixed at the Trossachs lift station. The Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District says approximately 1,400 customers have been affected by the pump failure. It's unknown how long repairs will take.

Although residents can continue to use water, the district is asking them to limit their use by reducing showers, toilet flushes, and any other action that puts water down the drain. According to the district, the less water is used, the faster repairs will go.
