- REMINDER - Weekend closure of SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and I-405 in Bellevue, Aug. 8-11
Plan ahead for a noisy weekend along the SR 520 corridor! Crews will close all lanes of SR 520 over the weekend of August 8-11 for many activities, including completing the final paving and striping of the on- and off-ramps to SR 520 and final striping the mainline. Crews will also complete critical work in other parts of the SR 520 corridor.
This work will be noisy!
Details of the work:
- Date and time: 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11
- Traffic and bus rider impacts: Crews will close all lanes of SR 520 and bus stops between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and I-405 in Bellevue for the duration of the weekend. All ramps, roadways, and bus stops will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, August 11.
o Please note: the 124th Avenue Northeast interchange will also be closed for work on the SR 520 108th Avenue Northeast to West Lake Sammamish Parkway Paving Project.
o The closure includes the eastbound SR 520 exit to 124th Avenue Northeast and the 124th Avenue Northeast on-ramp to westbound SR 520.
o The northbound I-405 exit to eastbound SR 520 and the westbound SR 520 exits to both directions of I-405 will remain open throughout the weekend.
