Evans Creek Preserve: Sahalee Parking Lot and Connecting Trail Opening this Saturday!!

The new Evans Creek Preserve trailhead, renovated overlook parking lot and connecting trail will open this Saturday. The forecast this weekend calls for sunshine and warm weather making it a perfect time to get out and explore the Preserve. Better yet, join Park Commissioner Brad Conner for a tour and hear all about the amazing effort it took volunteers to build the extensive trail system that meanders through 211 acres of meadows, over and along wetlands and streams and through densely-forested areas. End your tour with a picnic at the new trailhead located just north of NE 36th Street and Sahalee Way NE.
