Before issuing a permit decision on a section of King County’s East Lake Sammamish Trail project, the city has opened a 14-day public comment period. This additional comment period will allow the public to review and comment on the county’s 95% trail design plans. The city mailed this notice of public comment to all surrounding property owners and parties of record, published it in a local newspaper, and posted it on public blue board displays. The public comment period will run through June 18.

The 95% plans cover the southern portion of East Lake Sammamish Trail, a section, all within Sammamish city limits, that stretches from the Issaquah/Sammamish border north to Southeast 33rd Street. The 95% plans are available for public review at Sammamish City Hall, 801 228th Ave. S.E.
