Hot weather beginning Friday and extending into next week is raising the danger of fire in the Puget Sound region. Saturday is expected to be the hottest day, with temperatures around 90 degrees in Sammamish.

During hot weather it is important to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water. Make sure, also, to never leave children and pets unattended in cars. The recent dry weather, in combination with this weekend's hot temperatures, will increase fire danger. Please avoid any outdoor burning.
